So I’m writing this review for Indian buyers. I purchased the surface laptop 3 i5 256gb storage in jan form US (because I couldn’t wait) so I’m writing the review after using it ver well. And I’ll compare my user experience with MacBook Air.Build quality: Much better than MacBook Air. It very light! Minimalist designBattery life: Depends on usage but Microsoft said it’ll run for 8 hours after 100% and yes I didn’t even need to plug twice at my office !!It has Face ID which is fast, the lappy is touchscreen so that’s a bonus point. I’m not a graphic person but screen quality is beautiful. It has got the latest intel chip so I haven’t felt lag in 2 months.If you are a gamer than I’ll not recommend this lappy instead you may wanna purchase i7 version. However it can run PUBG. Why I picked this lappy over MacBook Air is because it is made for office people.

If it’s not Amazon PRIME, Don’t buy it.At any cost.Regardless!

I currently have a Macbook Pro, and Surface Pro 7 and a Surface Go. Macbook Pro is used for all professional work, Surface Pro 7 is mainly used when I am travelling due to its weight and form factor, and Surface Go lies in my car and I use it for random surfing and checking mails /office communication when I go to cafes or restaurants.I was looking for a new laptop for personal use at home, specially when lying in bed or sitting on the couch. Surface Pros screen is a bit small for long usage and is best used when sitting on a table. I did a lot of research and shortlisted Macbook Air, Thinpad X390 and a few other laptops from Dell, HP and Lenovo. But eventually decided to go for Surface laptop 3 and have not been disappointed.Pros:Premium look and feel. Looks different and the platinum shade is very good, specially in bright environments.Very light weight, compact and easy to carry.Very bright sceen and good resolution. Touch functionality is plus.Very good typing experience.Solid built quality.Great performance, the 10th gen i5 shines.Good battery life.Competitive price.Taller screen due to its aspect ratio makes it much more usable for productivity aspects.Cons:Slight flex in keyboard because of Alcantara material, but does not hamper the typing experience.You get only around 70 GB of usable space when all installation is done. This is ok if you only use the laptop for surfing , using MS Office , or watching videos. Not suitable for professional use.The screen is very reflective and may need some adjustments in view angle in outside environments or under certain lighting conditions.All and all this is one of the best premium laptops out there and very good option to consider. Those who say its expensive dont know what they are talking about to be honest, In all the brands that I looked for ultra portable laptops including Apple, Dell, Lenovo Thinkpad etc. all configs which had Core i5 10th gen were costing 1L plus.This is surely one of the best Windows laptop at this price point.

I purchased the 13.5″ i5 256 GB. I’ve had it for around 3 weeks now, and it works great! As a student, it’s great to have the touch screen for annotating documents and handwriting notes. I also use it for gaming and it runs smoothly for games such as League of Legends or Valorant. The only problems that i have run into so far has to do with how hot the SB3 gets. But as long as you’re not running too many apps at once or playing heavier games, it should be fine. Overall, great laptop!

Compared to Mac book , the item is inferior

Use this laptop as an all-purpose machine. Handles my music production, document-work, and light gaming (think Valorent/CS Go) with ease.Port selection is limited, so you might need a dongle to extend your connectivity.Battery life is decent, though competing laptops like the XPS do offer more. Touch is fantastic.Keyboard typing experience and the glass trackpad are a pleasure to use.Overall – Recommend.

Out of the box the device worked alright, however, I realized that key “J” gets stuck, which makes the device effectively unusable. Returning this one, but will buy another one, hoping it will be fully functional.(Jun 2021 update)I’ve got a replacement, and it worked alright for about 7 months. Today, one of the batteries died, and the device became effectively unusable. It took me about 1 hour to figure out how to contact a human from Microsoft support, then another 30 minutes to get through. Long story short: they emailed me a mailing label, and I will have to pay $20 for expedited shipping. Microsoft will send me a used device in return.So… Reducing rating down to 2 stars.

Very impressed with the laptop. Looks extremely elegant, very sleek and light weight and performance is excellent for day to day office work, light gaming and streaming. I chose surface over macbook as my work involves using multiple monitors and I am more used to the windows operating system. The touch screen is a plus and very helpful while scrolling through a lengthy documents or navigating around on youtube. Will definitely recommend this machine for someone looking for a premium looking machine with powerful windows OS performance.

Brought surface 4 … Had keyboard malfunction .. return it .. got replecmenet another one.. BUT SAME PROBLEMS.. KEYBOARD MALFUNCTION… NOW AS OF 23 JULY AMAZON INCREASED PRICE.. BUT HELLO CHECK PRODUCT PROPERLY… TOO MUCH DISAPPOINENT .. I WANT TO GIVE 0 STAR.. BUT THERE IS NO ZERO 0 STAR.. I DIDNT EXPECT HAPPEND 2TIMES WITH SUCH A BEST BRAND MICROSOFT….. GOD BLESS IMPORTER AND SERVICE…
