Best mouse you can possibly buy at this price point. It is light weight, comfortable to hold ( both with claw and palm grip) and it just a different experience all together. Bought it for playing fornite, six siege and pubg, and I feel like my game has improved.
Reviewing this on 16th Sept 2019. Been more than 3 years with the mouse, no signs of wear or tear. This is by far the most worthy investment I have ever made on gaming accessories. DPI still same, keys still intact, wire still uncut. There was a slight issue last week where the mouse did not start on PC startup. Fixed it by reconnecting the usb back in CPU. I think this can single-handedly be declared the best gaming mouse. If you are new to gaming, dont think about the price because trust me, you will not regret it for the next few glory years. For semi and pro, I think this offers better value that razor (A friend of mine is on his 3rd deatheadder since i got this).I personally prefer the wired accessories, otherwise G502 would have been my next upgrade. For now, I will stick to 402.Last review which I posted on 28th May 2018 is as below:Been 2 years with the mouse, still up and running like a beast.Games I Play: DOTA, CS:GO, PUBG PC, COD, BF, etc(+) DPS, good reverse action, grip, perfect weight, well placed thumb keys, accuracy of pointer, near to 0 delay, software with options to set macros, key bindings and profiles.(-) The extra buttons on the left click button are a bit far. I use them for map and inventory things which do not require fast action reflexes.Overall:Performance: 10/10Looks: 9/10Functionality: 8/10Sturdiness: 9/10PS: My friend uses razor deathadder, he had changed it twice since I got this.
KEYBOARDPros—-1. Metal top and thick plastic base makes it very strong and minimum deck flex.2. Raised keycaps and tactile membrane keys. IT’S NOT A MECHANICAL KEYBOARD.3. Long braided cable with strong USB connector.4. Decent rubber pads to stop slipping on the desk.5. Windows lock and RGB light brightness control buttons.6. Interchangeable WASD and Arrow Keys.Cons—-1. Input gets stuck sometimes even if the keys are not stuck. Happens about 4 times in 24 hours on average.2. Sometimes input is not registered.3. Keys are not equally tactile. Space bar takes a lot of effort.4. Only 3 light colour combination, no effects. Forget about software synchronisation.5. It’s NOT TRULY BACKLIT, key labels are not visible by the light, only the key gaps are lit.6. Packaging is bad.MOUSEPros—-1. Ergonomic and grippy design, easy to hold for medium and large hands.2. Metal base allows smooth movement and weight to the mouse.3. 6 buttons – Left/Right/Scroll/DPI/Forward/Backward4. 4 DPI settings 1000/1600/2400/3200 through cycling.5. Long braided cable with stroNg USB connector.Cons—-1. Sometimes input is not registered.2. Metal base is not removable if you prefer light mouse.3. Only RGB breathing effect, nothing else.4. Forget about any other features at this price with RGB.I bought this about a month ago and it’s running good. The build quality is very strong, you can kill a person with the keyboard. The packaging is very bad, resulting in a lot of people getting damaged products.Even though there’s issues with inputs for both the mouse and keyboard, it never happened during my daily 4 hour gaming binge. However, I don’t recommend this for intense FPS gaming as it can be difficult to hold the mouse for very fast movements for a long time. The RGB is okay but the money could have been used for adding other features or making the existing ones better, or at least they could’ve made the key-labels visible by the light. I do not recommend buying this at Rs.1600 as there are other better alternatives available at that price or a little more, like the Cooler Master keyboard-mouse combo. Buy this if you get a sale where the price is closer to Rs.1000.Edit: As of 02/02/2020, the ‘1’ and ‘Z’ keys from the alpha-numeric set have stopped working. I have reduced the ratings as the problems mentioned above have increased and new problem has come up. The mouse works fine, but if clicked too hard, next click won’t register. I DO NOT RECOMMEND buying at more than half the price, save more money and buy other better options.
Okay, so I got this combo today. The packaging was a bit bad. The box was deformed at some point, but the keyboard and mouse were in excellent condition.Talking about the product, the build quality is awesome. The breathing LEDs are a charm. The mouse is way too smooth. The keyboard keys don’t wobble and give somewhat a mechanical feel.In short, the headline is 100% right. Just go for it !
I was a bit skeptic at first when this was on offer for 1200rs, as i don’t usually trust reviews here. but must say this one blew my expectations and i have a new found respect for reviewers too.The quality of the keyboard and the mouse is very good better than good i must say.The LED features could have been more elaborate well any ways u can turn them off on both the devices.(On the mouse long press the Dpi button to turn off the LED). ps-found it the hard way.STURDY, BEAUTIFUL AND VALUE FOR UR EVERY PENNY.
this is my 2nd time buying a G402, i purchased a new one because my old G402 was wonderfully and i loved it every bit, but after a year it started to not function, the RIGHT click not functioning properly and the middle mouse button not working, i thought then that the device only comes with a one year warranty hence i ignored it and bought a new one, the thing with the new one is that i purchased the new one in june 2018 and in feb 2019 the scroll wheel stopped working, since then, ive been going back an forth from amazon and Logitech to get the device replaced as device comes with 2 year warranty, but no is willing to help. would not recommend the G402 at all, to anyone looking to purchase it, rather i would recommend you to spend the extra money and get the G502 Hero.
The mouse is large and clunky, and only suited for large hands. It is nothing great ergonomically too and is just at par with what the competition is already giving. However, my scroll wheel conked off within three months. I’ve not had such problem with any other mouse. I don’t overuse it and it giving away so soon speaks greatly about the lack of quality Razer provides now. I’ve owned a Salmosa earlier and the main buttons gave up in that too. Maybe my luck with mice is crap, as my G201 also started ghost clicking after a year as well as its in-warranty replacement. I’m not a serial gamer and my sessions are just about couple of hours every day. So, for the true blue gamers out there, I would advise to stay clear of this mouse and explore some other options in the market. Don’t get swayed by the attraction of this brand. It’s more show and less go.
Purchased this mouse after doing a lot of research and finally going ahead with the purchase based on my usage. The feel and fit of the mouse is excellent, but the weight of the mouse is on the higher sideFew things I would like to mention about the mouse1.DPI 6400-More than enough for a casual gamer, there is no way u need DPI more than that2.Go for this mouse if you are a palm grip user with medium to large hands3.Price point of this mouse is quite attractive at1650 rsI would update my review in the coming days as per my usage
Mouse is great. To be frank I don’t know what I am reviewing here… The mouse , Amazon or organisations that sell on Amazon. If you are lucky you will get a sealed item.If you are average normal common person. You get a mouse that’s been returned, opened with manual missing , sticker missing etc.I am sick of returning things. And that too for small reasons like sticker missing or it has been used by someone else for God knows how long and where it’s been.Returning things is extra work and puts guilt on me like as if I am expecting more than what I have paid for. In reality I did not get good service 😔.This is the reason for 1 🌟 in review. But it’s a good mouse, good company.
