performs and works as intended, not portable drive. sits on desk and does not get moved. runs cool, does make slight noise when it writes to the disk but would most certainly purchase again.

It’s not portable. You have to conncet it to AC plug and use adaptor to connect it to your laptop or PC .. don’t get fooled by Amazon’s raitings.It’s a 3.5 hard disk .. it’s not 2.5 hard disk.Amazon has not stated that clearly. Fraud seller.

I got it at ₹6,674 which is quite a good price for a 4TB hdd.the transfer speed is decent. Not to high or low. I got 20mbps while transferring a video file.As others were saying it does have 3.63TB storage in reality. That’s because in computer they measure in Tebibytes (2^40)So from marketing standpoint they are not wrong to say it’s a 4TB hdd which is actually 3.63TiB.This hdd is quite bulkier than my 1TB hdd and comes with a charger. Hence less portable. But who needs to slip a 4TB hdd in his pocket anyway?so if you want to use it while keeping it static at one place like for a smallscale server etc then it can be a decent choice.The only thing to confirm is durability which only time can tell.
