The device was received in good condition. However, the data transfer rate was extremely slow over the same home network . Called up WD support and they said WD sync software was end of life and should use goodsync. As soon as I installed goodsync it gave a message that free subscription was over and I needed to take a paid subscription. That was enough for me and I decided to return the device. Too much hastle and criminal to have to pay for a 3rd party software to use WD device. Had good experience in past with other WD product but this experience was bad. Have raised return request but due to Covid situation the return pickup has not happened and not received refund 🙁
