Works as expected. Had intermittent issues with connecting from a my Dell 5490 (2018 purchase) running Windows 10 Pro but was resolved after restart of the adapter and the laptop. It can be powered using a battery bank. Quite easy to wirelessly project your laptop & mobile screens to a TV or projector or any device that can take HDMI input, plug into the HDMI port and power it up, use a HDMI to VGA convertor adapter (https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07BMWKLSC/ref=pe_3025041_185740121_TE_item) for VGA only device and it works well. Please note that on both laptop and mobile Wi-Fi adapter should be enabled i.e. wifi should be switched on but need not be connected to internet, especially when casting from Android device ensure wifi is on in order to detect the Wireless Display Adpater. I will definitely recommend the product.

I thought of going wireless with my desktop setup. I got wireless mouse and keyboard and works quite well. Then I thought of getting wireless display adapter so I can connect to monitor without hdmi cables.Drawbacks1. My monitors had no usb port in order to give power supply to this adapter, so needed extra wires to give power supply to this adapter :-)2. The laptop needs to be kept open initially as you have to manually connect by going to windows 10 setting. No option of auto connect on PC restarts.3. Felt like bit of an headache with docking station, every time turn on laptop open the laptop, connect with monitor, close laptop and so on.4. So with programming , the mouse was bit lagging. Also typing was bit delayed in the IDE.Works well with TV,1. So I decided to drop it from monitor and used it for TV.2. TV had a usb port so it fit well, as hdmi and usb port are next to each other.3. I am able to connect laptop to TV now wirelessely, and watch youtube, prime or netflix.4. Works fine without any lags, also sound is transmitted by default to TV.
