TCL Elite Turbo 2 ton 3 Star Ultra-Inverter Split AC (Copper, TAC-22CSD/V3, White, Fast cooling)

Though this size (1.4 ton) is a bit strange, it is as good as an 1.5 ton AC. Looks are a bit con to this model. However, the effectiveness of the AC is good so far. The following are my observations:1. There is an LED light in the middle of the front side for indicating the temperature. This is not generally visible in the product images. Temperature setting can range from 16 to 30 degrees, as is the case with most of the ACs.2. I could see only a nominal rise due to this in power bill. So far there was only some 400 Rs. rise per month after its arrival, though it is used for around 10 hours a day. The savings may be due to the inverter component of this AC.3. The indoor unit has 3 levels of fan speed: low, medium and high. The ‘high’ speed setting is a little bit noisy compared to other two. However, it doesn’t matter much.4. The vertical swing doesn’t cover all the possible angles. Covers only 50% of the possibility. This is a poor design.5. Installation: The installation was the worst part. Though it is mentioned that standard AC installation cost is Rs. 1500 in Amazon, it was Rs. 2000+ 18% GST+Tips for the installation guys= Rs. 2500. They said Rs. 2000 instead of 1500 was because of the inverter model. The Voltas guys were not responsive to the Amazon’s automatic request for the installation after the products gets delivered. I had to follow up the Voltas customer care repeatedly. By the way, the local vendors of AC provide a free and hassle-free installation.6. Remote is a bit disappointment. They gave a very large and bulky remote. But it works okay.Will update the review to include my forthcoming experiences.

AC is energy efficient, good cooling effect low sound but when purchased from amazon, we got less warranty (1years comprehensive +5 years on compressor) and pay high installation charges (Rs. 1970/) . When we purchased from store we will get 5+10 years warranty and installation charges is only Rs. 590/ only. I request amazon to kindly see the matter

This product is amazing and the cooling quality is really good. It cools the room of almost 150 square feet in less than 30 seconds once compressor turns on. There is no noise issue in this AC. Overall an amazing product in the price range.

The media could not be loaded.  1. Amazon – delivered on time.2. Installation:- Installed next day on time. Installation guy didn’t use vacuum pump as mentioned in installation procedure. Tightened copper tubes with adjustable screw spinner , didn’t check tightness with torque wrench. Didn’t check gas leak as per procedure. Utter failure. Even they didn’t do voltage check before installing the AC.3. Product:-Horizontal sweep not working which I noticed a day after installation. This was not checked by installation guys. (Refer video)Cooling is really poor, even at 16 degree centigrade. It feels like 24 to 26 degree centigrade. Though indoor unit room temperature reading shows 17-19 degree centigrade.Once I switch ON the ceiling fan I can feel the chill ness. Seems indoor unit is throwing the air upwards. (As per gaseous law cold air has to come down but indoor unit is resisting the cold air to come down by creating a blanket) Checked the installation again , indoor unit is tilted bit forward favoring air throw towards floor. Seems a design fault. Raised a return request to AMAZON.4. NoiseLow is silentMedium is okHigh is too noisy.Even the outdoor unit makes bit more noise.5. WiFiI was not aware of this function before I purchase. But it is not at all working with their android software and iOS application is not available it seems.6. RegistrationI sent a registration request sms to their customer care no. Received immediate reply that I will be contacted by their representative at the earliest. Haven’t received any call from Voltas.I purchased This AC after a long search , feeling frustrated.Please don’t go for this model.I bought it for Rupees 31490 with 1000 rupees amazon pay cash back. Very Next day price dropped to 29999 rupees. Now it is listed around 32000 rupees.

Cooling is ok.. Service is good. Build quality is below average. I suggests to go for bluestar, voltas.

I bought this TCL AC about a month ago and its been working absolutely fine. Cooling is very good and works perfectly with Google Assistant except for very few instances. Can’t comment on energy efficieny this soon but I am not hoping much as this product is already 3 star rated. Remote works preety well and even the remote in TCL app works quite well. Overall satisfied with the product.

TCL service team removed my old AC and they are unable to install the new AC at the same day.TCL service team taken 3 day’s for new AC installation.TCL service team done 3rd class installation at my home. Review my pictures..The AC fixed not in a even line.After installation they are not able to check Gas pressure due to not working pressure gauges.Not satisfied with TCL service team.Wifi connection not working properly.

TCL team make fool out of its customers. Got a call. But, nobody came for installation. That’s not what you expect. Did a trial order of some units for our company. But, services are extremely poor. Can’t recommend to anyone. Further orders had to process through panasonic. Extremely awesome services. Never buy TCL products as their commitments will fail for sure. Better to buy 2nd hand AC.

The installation people will try to take as much money as possible from you doing unnecessary and extra work.

Installation not done properly, placed outdoor unit in balcony just beside door, refused to fix outdoor unit at outside of balcony. Due to hot air exhaust we are not able to go to balcony.collected 4000 for installation, refused to give receipt, this is not problem but not satisfied with installation

MRP shown in Rs. 43543/- and not Rs 66990. It is completely misguiding and didn’t expect on Amazon site.On LG installation service — Product GST and Installation GST can’t be same. Person who came or spoken on phone giving installation offer on 1199 + 18% GST= 1414. I am surprised on this. What service they provide only screw tight with small drilling. Wall cutting for outlet/outside for pipe has additional charges. How one can install without making a hole. They told your wall is of concreate and we can’t do. This is required core cutting and additional Rs. 1500/- . They straight told that you decide you want to do or not. They told we can fit in 10 mins if hole is there for pipe means 10 mins service charge is 1411/- and as per them it is very cheap. If LG wants to look this and correct the service please do so.- Bracket where they fit fan have online charges 699 (approx) and they need 955 (approx). I told why then they have argument, if you purchase outside they they need 200 charges to make same figure. I asked then this installation is not part of 1411 charges and answer was yes. It is just laughable.- I can’t imagine – 3 pin plug also chargeable of Rs. 100 and LG servicemen told that 18% GST on top of that. means they want Rs. 118/-. I won’t understand why LG won’t inbuilt directly and provide. Not sure so much competitive market price to exclude it and gaining any price benefit.- He was forcing me to use pipe from the floor you stay till ground floor and charge Rs 100/meter. I stopped this non-sense thought. Interesting this pipe cost is also with 18% GST.- Now on wrapper – he needs and unfortunately it looks logical to me and he told it is from his side and have some cost. Rs.70/meter. So normal pipe size 3 meter and wrapper needs 210.If I calculated all these then it is 5000+ which 12% of AC charges. Can LG/Amazon explain this hidden cost?Conclusion – I would be happy if this cost shown upfront and make a reasonable costing structure which really make sense. I strongly believe very poor service on this front.

If you want an air conditioner with all of the features at a low price, this is the one to get! Works flawlessly with the TCL app and Google Assistant! The cooling capacity is superb, as it cools my medium-sized room at 24 degrees Celsius in 5 minutes! TCL’s spec machine is simply amazing and one can buy it without a second thought.

This TCL 1.5T ultra inverter split AC is working very well to our complete satisfaction. The delivery and installation were done in time without any follow up. This AC is very silent and cooling is faster and its ultra inverter technology takes care of frequent voltage variations in our area (Kerala village). Also as this is a smart Wi-Fi enabled AC, this can be controlled from our mobile through the App.

The product is good and working very wel. But the after sale service was not good. I had to follow up for a month to get the WiFi card installed in the AC which was faulty.

They should install a good stabilizer instead of oraganising some local based products, back drop

My AC developed cooling issues just after 15 days of installation. I called TCL customer care and lodged complaint and was assured a call within 2 hours and service within 48 hours. It has been more than 30 days since that call. In between I had spoken to 5 different customer care executives; all of whom assured 48 hours service and spoke to Amazon as well. yesterday I got a call from someone claiming to be TCL service engineer who promised to come and repair within 2 hours. No one showed up and the technician said i am late and will come on Monday. Suddenly I receive a Message from TCL saying that they could not reach me and hence my complaint is cancelled. What the hell is going on TCL. AMAZON; what responsibility do you hold ?

Haven’t received the copper pipe along with the ac. How to complain and get the same
