Bose Solo 5 TV Soundbar Sound System with Universal Remote Control, Black

I always wanted to buy bose speaker at least once in my life but it was way too much expensive for me. I use to go to bose showroom and hear sample sound and I feel I was in paradise,I always tell myself I gonna save money and buy one soon and listen music from bose in my home this product is baby of sound bar 500 and 700 by seeing it I can tell it gonna rock your world I believe in bose even though I not having this speaker I 100 % trust bose and Amazon close your eyes and go a head and buy this product u gonna love it and make your comments, I promise people who buy and listen to bose speaker will feel the paradise of music,telling myself again I gonna save money and buy bose speaker at least once in my life…

Sound is good and bass is litlebit cool overall awesome bose product in average budget. I like it very much.

Crystal clear sound, good for music and tv. Don’t expect heavy deep bass since it doesn’t have a subwoofer. However has a port to connect an external sub woofer jack. I was very impressed with what that 2 feet tiny box could deliver. If your expecting a single compact soundbar which beats the clarity the other brands, then look no further. You won’t be disappointed!

Last year during Diwali sale I bought Sony 55” 4k Smart TV. It is excellent in all respects except sound – Even at very high volume I couldn’t hear the movie dialogues very clearly and the sound quality was very flat. So I wanted to buy a good quality Soundbar under Rs.10000. I bought 3 different brands (including 2 with external sub-woofer) but wasn’t satisfied at all and had to return all 3. Most of the Soundbars had very less power output and though the overall sound was sometimes loud neither one of them had balanced sound and sound with variations. 1 of them priced around 7999 had so much Bass that even for movie dialogues I could feel the Bass effect and it sounded too loud and had to return it.I practically lost hope for any Soundbar and was thinking to buy a 5.1 decoder with amplifier. But recently I came across FitSpark SOLO S8 on Amazon and found that it mentioned all the sound and acoustic specifications in detail – it appeared impressive but I was still sceptical whether to buy or not – but seeing its attractive price of about 6k I bought it.Now I will explain what I experienced1. This is full size Soundbar and not like 1 other brand which was a normal Bluetooth speaker but in the shape of Soundbar. And it surely had very high power output as the company claimed of 180 watts2. It has all connectivity ports I could think of – Optical cable (I got free optical cable inside), HDMI ARC, AUX-IN (I used this to connect my old tv which doesn’t have HDMI), USB and also Bluetooth streaming option3. The installation was easy – I had to change some settings on my TV. It took me about 5 minutes4. The sound quality was just MIND-BLOWING – I mostly watch Hindi movies and whenever I test an audio device I always play tracks from DIL SE and DIL TO PAGAL HAI (these 2 movies have one of the best soundtracks with max possible effects). The Dialogues were CRYSTAL CLEAR and the mids and highs gave out of the world experience – I could hear the whispers and modulations very clearly (saw the opening railway station scene from DIL SE). The songs also played out very well.5. BASS – This Soundbar has built-in sub-woofer and the BASS is very well balanced. At desired points, it brought out the effect very well. And personally whenever I see any series like 24 or Blacklist my biggest concern is sharp and crisp dialogues rather than BASS – I have tested against both and found it impressive. I also saw a portion of Harry Potter through my Blu Ray player and it played out very well too.6. Bluetooth streaming – the connection was fast and I played by HD tracks from my Apple Music library – the streaming is actually HD streaming as claimed by the company – there were no breaks or disturbances7. Build quality and looks – It is glossy black and gives a premium feel. The Soundbar is slightly heavy but still, I could easily shift and attach to my other TV as well (personally I always prefer heavy audio products as they have better sound drivers). The finishing and overall build quality looks fine8. The remote has a feature to change the modes: Music-TV-Movie and u can also change the level of Bass and treble from the remoteThe box included wall mounting brackets with screws, remote control (but no batteries- the company should try to include battery), 1 optical cable and 1 auxin cableFrankly, I never expected such quality and I never write such detailed review. But I am really so Impressed that I have tried to share all my feelings with fellow buddies. I am fully satisfied and will buy 1 more in the coming Amazon Sale. With new technologies TVs are getting smarter, slimmer but at the same time lacking the sound quality. Be it any brand and even expensive brands if u watch any movie or Netflix series it’s pain to hear the dialogues and I always miss the effects of background music score. (In old box style TVs sound was still better than current slim TVs)I watch a lot of movies and series on Netflix/Amazon Prime/Hotstar and bought SOLO S8 Soundbar expecially for this purpose – AND I AM MORE THAN SATISFIED. Be it a any movie (even old classics from 1970-1980s or even the new releases or any streaming online series – the dialogues and background sound gave ULTIMATE CINEMATIC FEEL. Vocals are very sharp and crisp and we could feel the change in movie watching experience on our same TV. And my parents TV didn’t have Hdmi or optical port still I could connect it using Line In port.4k content and HD content did sound better when I connected using the given optical cable inside the box – before buying the Soundbar I searched on amazon and found very few and only high end Soundbars had optical as well as HDMI ARC ports – and at a price of 6k this Soundbar has all the connectivity ports u could ever require. (Now since most streaming content has HD quality so I personally recommend always using fiber optical cable connection as it gives lossless audio and exceptional acoustics – it is like 4k in audio)For music streaming I only use my portable Bluetooth speakers but I did test on this Soundbar and the streaming was smooth and connection stable.Since this is 2.1 Soundbar with inbuilt sub-woofer so I didn’t expect too much Bass as in case of external sub-woofer – But to my surprise I must say BASS is quite decent and when we press the movie mode from the remote then it further enhances. I could easily feel the BASS effect in all songs as well as wherever the soundtrack demanded. Further the mids and highs are so balanced and fantastic that the overall my movie watching experience was simply awesome. (Apart fromMovie mode U can also increase Bass from the remote control)It was very convenient and easy to shift and connect this Soundbar to any room / TV (otherwise it’s quite inconvenient to shift the heavy external sub-woofer + Soundbar to diff rooms)FitSpark looks a new upcoming brand but they seem to have really worked on all the aspects – the Soundbar finish and build, and even the outer gift box looks premiumI highly recommend to buy this 👍

I was looking for a soundbar to enhance the audio of my TV while watching movies/series. So, not looking for overtly thumpy base but for more of a balanced audio output.I connected this soundbar to my sony tv using hdmi cable. The audio output from the soundbar is good. Please remember to set the sound output as pcm in the AV setup of your tv if connecting via hdmi.Though optical connection is preferred to hdmi for this soundbar.
