The product delivered was having 1 year old manufacturing dates. Struggled to confirm on warranty since product was old. While installation I have to purchase wires, pins, stand which was never mentioned. I had to provide the ladder and act as a supporter while installation. The closing of hole with pop after installation was pathetic. AC outdoor unit is not fixed correctly yet. When conveyed to service engineer then he gave rude reply that it will remain as it is.

I have to point out the following:-this is the second unit I have purchased , on installation we found no refregent gass in the unit to run and we see a 5 star energy lable fixed on the unit; this is a clear cut example that daikin sending out unit after assembly fixing the 5 star lable with out testing energy consumption against the direction of energy authority of India, this is grave offence done to the public who purchase product seeing the energy lable of energy authority of India.Goverment should take proper action against this kind of manufactures and not allow this kind of product in the Indian market to product the public.Indoor unit;-1) by reducing the length and increasing the hight (A) the air through area reduced , (B) parity in appearance destroied eventhough you have added some new fechers; it does not give a good look for modern bed rooms.outdoor unit:-you have reduced the size of the unit to suit western countries,but ours is place of dust, polution and heat, except northern side, we require abiger size to withstand dust and polution for the durability of the roduct.

The media could not be loaded. *******UPDATE: After few months Daikin India has finally replaced my air conditioner with a new one and it’s working fine now.I recommend you to check the AC thoroughly for defects before installing it to avoid any trouble. Things you should check:1. Outer body for any damages.2. The evaporator coils in the indoor unit.3. The front panel door of the indoor unit.4. Horizontal and vertical Louvres (swing).**********Not recommended. Poor service.I’ve purchased this AC in the month of May. The installation was done on 25th May. We asked the installation guys to check if there was any damage so that we could return the product if any damage was found. They said that the product is good and we too didn’t find any damage on the outside.After 2-3 weeks I opened the indoor unit to clean the air filters and I’ve noticed that evaporator fins were bent. I checked again carefully and found that an entire row of fins were damaged.I contacted Daikin for a replacement since it was only few weeks since the purchase. They asked me send the pics on WhatsApp. They called me and said that it’s completely normal and that all ACs have fins bent like this. They said that since it’s not affecting the cooling they won’t replace the indoor unit. They simply said it is fine as your room is getting cooled there is no problem.They denied my warranty claim saying that AC was not damaged. Why should I accept an AC with manufacturing defect inspite of paying nearly Rs. 54,000?I’ve asked Amazon to help me with the warranty claim and I’ll update this review later.

For God’s sake, even a plug is missing. How I am I going to connect to power!!To other customers: what you pay basically is for are two boxes, the indoor unit and the outdoor unit. Practically nothing else is provided. Installation charge of 1500, with “extra cost for additional items” is a big joke. Everything required for installation, you have to buy from your pocket. This includes the following:- 3 core electric cable to connect the unit to power (just imagine!)- Plug- stand for outdoor unit- water outlet pipe- extra copper pipe if neededMoreover, the installation guy will charge you double the amount for these items. I had purchased the stand separately from Amazon, thats how I know.If you are caught unaware, be prepared to shell out 4-5k extra during installation.This is a big cheating from the manufacturer in my opinion. They should provide all the attachments required for installation.

LG is spoiling the brand name due to improper management of service. Installation service provider or agency was very annoying. Seems like no LG authorized and trained personnel come for Installation anymore, they have outsourced and some amateur boys come who don’t even know where to verify model and order details. Troubled enough and wasted lot of time to see invoice, Amazon app will not let you download invoice, and is redirecting to desktop app. Not sure installation was proper, no final check done. Did not keep to the timing, came 2 hrs late, did not have additional copper tubes or 3 pin. Surprisingly insisted will install on clamp only with additional charges for clamp without proper justifications for the neèd for a clamp. I had to argue with their ‘OWNER’ of their agency to exclude clamp where not required. I had 2 AC installed they wanted 2 request no, had to put up another call with LG. Since then started getting multiple calls from different people for Installation service. Bad experience with LG.

An excellent product, very low noise, less than a fan. Only disappointment was installation. Mechanics came on due date about 6 hours late. Indoor unit back plate was hammered into the wall instead of screwing in. Indoor unit power cord clamped in place on the wires instead of the insulated portion. Level gauge was taped up so may not be accurate.Using old drill bit instead of drill saw to make hole in wall. U bend not made properly on piping exit from the wall. Outer unit installed without proper levelling. System not vaccuumed prior opening gas, just soap test done. Overall very poor installation work despite telling the mechanics the correct method. Had installed a Daikin unit last year with excellent installation job.

He mentioned that installation is chargeable (Rs.1600 + GST), he shared a doc, in which they are clearly instructed that installation is chargeable for this model.I called IFB customer care for clarification, they are saying installation is free. But local IFB service centre is not accepting it. I called Amazon and they are of no help.I made multiple calls to IFB customer care, IFB service centre, Amazon. Very poor support from all of them.I am not able to return it too.If you can spend for installation, then buy it, else ignore it. Go for a brand which has better service and doesn’t cheat.

As expected, delivery was timely and smooth.The product, from Daikin is always great. Cooling and noise level is great. Sadly it is not a SMART AC, whcih one can control on Alexa and a remote wireless App. Wish Daikin would wake up and get real about getting online with its AC control… But alas!

IFB changed their installation policy on 3rd of august 21 that no extra copper tube is provided, but the amazon installation page still states that the installation is done with a free 3mt copper tube. So the customer also have to pay for copper tube separately. They quoted me 950/- per meter of copper wire and with 3 meters that is 2850/- adding the rope charges 3500/- for the apartment just installation alone cost above 6000/- and that is the only concern. Also the technician from IFB are discouraging my purchase they also said that “we dont take any liability for future issues”, they are hesitant to work for the products purchased online. This is not the problem only with IFB service provider but all the companys in the market the same happened when I’ve planned to buy aquaguard they to said the same thing.If the customer is experiencing problems of such after purchase it is not the company’s fault it is the service providers across all companies that are doing this and I complained about the same to Amazon too.
