Voltas 1.5 Ton 3 Star Inverter Split AC (Copper 183VCZS White)

Though this size (1.4 ton) is a bit strange, it is as good as an 1.5 ton AC. Looks are a bit con to this model. However, the effectiveness of the AC is good so far. The following are my observations:1. There is an LED light in the middle of the front side for indicating the temperature. This is not generally visible in the product images. Temperature setting can range from 16 to 30 degrees, as is the case with most of the ACs.2. I could see only a nominal rise due to this in power bill. So far there was only some 400 Rs. rise per month after its arrival, though it is used for around 10 hours a day. The savings may be due to the inverter component of this AC.3. The indoor unit has 3 levels of fan speed: low, medium and high. The ‘high’ speed setting is a little bit noisy compared to other two. However, it doesn’t matter much.4. The vertical swing doesn’t cover all the possible angles. Covers only 50% of the possibility. This is a poor design.5. Installation: The installation was the worst part. Though it is mentioned that standard AC installation cost is Rs. 1500 in Amazon, it was Rs. 2000+ 18% GST+Tips for the installation guys= Rs. 2500. They said Rs. 2000 instead of 1500 was because of the inverter model. The Voltas guys were not responsive to the Amazon’s automatic request for the installation after the products gets delivered. I had to follow up the Voltas customer care repeatedly. By the way, the local vendors of AC provide a free and hassle-free installation.6. Remote is a bit disappointment. They gave a very large and bulky remote. But it works okay.Will update the review to include my forthcoming experiences.

AC is energy efficient, good cooling effect low sound but when purchased from amazon, we got less warranty (1years comprehensive +5 years on compressor) and pay high installation charges (Rs. 1970/) . When we purchased from store we will get 5+10 years warranty and installation charges is only Rs. 590/ only. I request amazon to kindly see the matter

This AC is a good buy.Cooling is really good and its price is good too.I am happy with the product and delivery from Amazon.

My AC was fitted on top of a cupboard, after consistently asking the installation guy if it will be able to hold the weight of the AC he said yes because he wanted to save his work. Half way through the installation he showed low confidence on the AC fixture but then continued anyways to save his work and time. I feel cheated. The product is good but Clouldtail needs to also take ownership of the installation.

Air conditioner is good.Working fine.And mainly i want give my opinion about installation.Please don’t go with voltas installation.Because they will not see customer comforts.They want their comfort only. I mean they want finish their work as early as possible.Even they will not discuss with us about installation. Where to fit. And what is the benefits of that.If we ask anything to them they will ask extra amount.Even for small work also they will ask huge amount or will say with us its not come under installation. If we paid 1500 rs amount also.Even their work also will not do properly.And more ever they will blackmail us like if you not go with our installation you will loss company warranty… Like this they are doing..This is happening in company installation.This my honest opinion.Please better avoid company installation.Worst installation. They want money only and They are thinking that Who are buying in the online they are ready to pay huge amount because of warranty. So they are thinking coustmers like bafoons.

Half inch and 1 1/4th inches bolts are not given with the product for which I paid excess amount 1000rs so I kindly want my extra amount to be returned

The media could not be loaded.  1. Amazon – delivered on time.2. Installation:- Installed next day on time. Installation guy didn’t use vacuum pump as mentioned in installation procedure. Tightened copper tubes with adjustable screw spinner , didn’t check tightness with torque wrench. Didn’t check gas leak as per procedure. Utter failure. Even they didn’t do voltage check before installing the AC.3. Product:-Horizontal sweep not working which I noticed a day after installation. This was not checked by installation guys. (Refer video)Cooling is really poor, even at 16 degree centigrade. It feels like 24 to 26 degree centigrade. Though indoor unit room temperature reading shows 17-19 degree centigrade.Once I switch ON the ceiling fan I can feel the chill ness. Seems indoor unit is throwing the air upwards. (As per gaseous law cold air has to come down but indoor unit is resisting the cold air to come down by creating a blanket) Checked the installation again , indoor unit is tilted bit forward favoring air throw towards floor. Seems a design fault. Raised a return request to AMAZON.4. NoiseLow is silentMedium is okHigh is too noisy.Even the outdoor unit makes bit more noise.5. WiFiI was not aware of this function before I purchase. But it is not at all working with their android software and iOS application is not available it seems.6. RegistrationI sent a registration request sms to their customer care no. Received immediate reply that I will be contacted by their representative at the earliest. Haven’t received any call from Voltas.I purchased This AC after a long search , feeling frustrated.Please don’t go for this model.I bought it for Rupees 31490 with 1000 rupees amazon pay cash back. Very Next day price dropped to 29999 rupees. Now it is listed around 32000 rupees.

I opted this only choose made in india..If indian quality air conditioner quality is so poor why do people need to buy… I have much trust on Tata products… But this conditioner broke my tust & patience.1. Odered Ac in February2. Room is not getting cooled3. Reported the issue, technician has come and verified.. finally he told there was no gas that too for a new air conditioner. So they filled the gas.4. Then right after two days, again room is not getting cooled… This time there is some sound from ac.5. Again reported the problem, this time the coil has gone bad. They took my complete air-conditioner with them6. It almost took them 1 and a half month to replace the part…7. Finally it’s got installed and post installation the gas needs to be filled.8. Gas they brought was empty so again I have to wait to get the gas filled9. Painful process to call them and continuously give follow up.. one good thing is air conditioner is in warranty.Or else it would have costed me lot of bucks10. I couldn’t say how much cooling does it gives… Because it has been six months and I haven’t still used it…..Ready to go through the pain go for it 👍

Voltas Ac is no doubt is very good , but brand support for amazon customers is worst .1 – They charges 1500+ taxes for amazon customers (only ) instead of 499+taxes.2- Extended warranty is not applicable for Amazon customers.3-Amazon support is also third class , they don’t refund/returned after purchase , need to show them proof for all reason despite all of it customers is only culprit for them.4- Voltas as brand is biased among online portals .5- Above all ac is faulty , Showing error E6/E8Overall i feel so cheated by amazon and voltas both after getting 3k discount on card & exchange on 30499( in amazon festive offer) it is cost me : 37659 .

LG is spoiling the brand name due to improper management of service. Installation service provider or agency was very annoying. Seems like no LG authorized and trained personnel come for Installation anymore, they have outsourced and some amateur boys come who don’t even know where to verify model and order details. Troubled enough and wasted lot of time to see invoice, Amazon app will not let you download invoice, and is redirecting to desktop app. Not sure installation was proper, no final check done. Did not keep to the timing, came 2 hrs late, did not have additional copper tubes or 3 pin. Surprisingly insisted will install on clamp only with additional charges for clamp without proper justifications for the neèd for a clamp. I had to argue with their ‘OWNER’ of their agency to exclude clamp where not required. I had 2 AC installed they wanted 2 request no, had to put up another call with LG. Since then started getting multiple calls from different people for Installation service. Bad experience with LG.

An excellent product, very low noise, less than a fan. Only disappointment was installation. Mechanics came on due date about 6 hours late. Indoor unit back plate was hammered into the wall instead of screwing in. Indoor unit power cord clamped in place on the wires instead of the insulated portion. Level gauge was taped up so may not be accurate.Using old drill bit instead of drill saw to make hole in wall. U bend not made properly on piping exit from the wall. Outer unit installed without proper levelling. System not vaccuumed prior opening gas, just soap test done. Overall very poor installation work despite telling the mechanics the correct method. Had installed a Daikin unit last year with excellent installation job.

product is good but installation is very poor. they charged 2200 , They said installation 1000 , Outdoor ankle 850 and copper tape 400,. I have bought a water pipe.. Very unsatisfied with installation.. LG outsourcing the installation team. This is my last product from LG

Remote is of poor quality, didn’t work perfectly in command to sensor, sensor is defective or remote, is a serious question besides remote switch are of substandard quality. Regarding performance, after certain period it can opined properly. Besides, drain pipe supplied was only 1 ft long, we had to bought it from outside.

The AC lacks essential features which makes it not suitable for bedroom.Pros:1. Good cooling capacity2. Energy efficientCons: A big list1. Fan speed is tooo high even in low speed, which makes irritation once the room gets cooled enough2. Too much of noise due to the fan speed3. There is no memory for blower swing position. Every time when you switch on or power comes back, you need to adjust the blower swing position using remote4. The above one is a BIG problem during your sleep. It is more than enough to spoil your night sleep. The cool air will directly hit you which will make you sick (as I am suffering from cold, headache and chest infection now)5. There is NO MEMORY FOR SLEEP FUNCTION. what? – yea, you read it right. This problem combined with lack of swing position retention will give a big blow6. There is no way you can see the current room temperature. Whatever is set is displayed in the unit always. Remote control also lacking a display of room temperature.7. Inverter load percentage is not displayed. One of the good feature found in many of inverter ac is missing in this one. For example if the room gets cooled enough then motor load will reduce to lower than 100% (example 60%) which is displayed on the indoor unit. But that feature is missing.8. The mode in which ac is working, is not displayed. Basically only the temperature set is shown, no other display.9. No way you will know whether ac is working on sleep mode, timer, dry mode etc.10. Beep sound coming from ac unit as an acknowldegement to remote button press is tooo feeble so that you can hardly hear that. Noise of the AC itself blocks the beep sound.11. BIGGEST PROBLEM I’m facing. The remote control operations is not sensitive. Almost half the times the key press in remote control are not detected by AC unit. But the display in remote changes according to the key press though the function is not changing in ac. This issue combined with the above mentioned problems (inadequate dislpay in ac, feeble beep sound, lack of memory of swing position and modes) will make you night sleep a hell. On day time you should be attentive enough to operate the AC (put some time and effort) to keep it run on desired settings.Tried all the troubleshooting steps in user manual but still the remote control is a problem. I have raised my last point to Amazon support and awaiting for the technician visit in a day. Will keep this review live. Today is the fourth day after installing it in my bedroom.Update on March 14 – Remote control sensitivity problem which was reported on March 10 has not yet attended by technician.12. One more problem noted. If the ac is running in sleep mode without any power interruption and reached one degree high after an hour, then if you perform any unrelated action using remote, like turning off the display, the ac will go back to initial stage of the sleep mode.Update: After multiple calls with customer care, they took the product back. I have not yet received Rs2500 which I spent for installation and uninstallation. Worst purchase experience. They couldn’t arrange a service support for the remote control problem. So if I keep the ac, it is obvious that they can’t provide after-sale support during the warranty period.

The installation charges were mentioned as Rs.999/- in amazon but had to pay Rs.1700/- plus Rs. 1000 for drilling hole as demanded by company authorised technician. The technician did not use any extra materials.Feel dejected and cheated.
